The Balfour Declaration
Was made by Lord Balfour, the Foreign Secretary to Lord Rothschild during the First World War. It told the Jews that His Majesty's Government would help them to found a home land in Palestine. It obligated them to treat other people in that land decently; an obligation which they have treated with total contempt.
One, Ami Isseroff [ at Balfour Declaration ] gives some of the background to it. You might take him to be an impartial commentator. I tend to play Spot The Agenda. He tells us for example that Jews were quote thought unquote to have enormous influence on world affairs. He then goes on to mention Morgenthau and Brandeis, Jews who did have major influence in America. His account tells us that His Majesty's Government was treacherous. I am not arguing with. In its current incarnation [ 2007 ] it has never been more corrupt but read for yourself. Think for yourself. Decide for yourself.
Further he tells us that some Jews opposed it because a home land would give rise to suspicion about their loyalties; which suspicions have proven to be well founded. His piece says that Jews were active in fomenting the Bolshevik Revolution of 1917. This idea is denied by Richard Pipes, an eminent Jewish historian of that period. Jews claim that Israel is theirs by right. Read King Abdullah I on Zionism then decide that they are lying in their teeth or not.

Dear Lord Rothschild,
I have much pleasure in conveying to you, on behalf of His Majesty's Government, the following declaration of sympathy with Jewish Zionist aspirations which has been submitted to, and approved by, the Cabinet.
"His Majesty's Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country."

The final draft was altered to contain the proviso, "it being clearly
understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and
religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in
Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other
country.". THE FINAL declaration was altered at the behest of Edwin Samuel Montagu, an
influential anti-Zionist Jew and
secretary of state for India, who was concerned that
the declaration
as it stood could result in increased anti-Semitism. Montagu was also concerned
that the declaration would make it harder for him to deal with Indian
Muslims.

Balfour said, in essence: Have Palestine and treat the
natives decently. The Jews got it half
right. Ethnic cleansing was their major
