Tony Blair - a biography

This is fairly factual but also mentions some adverse comment including the move to impeach Blair for misleading Parliament. A rather more personal view was written by Andrew Rawnsley. Selected comments are at Blair and New Labour. Rawnsley's track record marks him as a Labour man rather someone of the right.

The next article probably tells us as much as we need to know about our Dear Leader.

Blair savaged by Butler [ 10 December 2004 ]
Lord Butler was the Cabinet Secretary, which means the head of the civil service and a Knight of the Garter [ one of the 26 ]. He knows what he is talking about. For a Cab Sec and master of discretion to put the boot into a serving prime minister in public may well be unprecedented. He did the inquiry into the distortions and fairy stories that led the British  Army to war in Iraq. The Spectator's offering  is more pungent.

Neil Kinnock - a biography
This is one is fairly factual and not too big on who did what to whom. Wikipedia entries are written by volunteers, can be learned but are very open to bias from the owner's editors. See Wikipedia. Comments on bias do get added.

Kinnock's Euro pay-off is condemned  [ 23 September 2004 ]
He will get £142,000 per annum for three years. That is 65% of his current pay. Afterward it drops to a mere 45% ie £63,900 a year.

Peter Mandelson - a biography

This is one does not skate over the dirt.

The continuing rise and fall of Peter Mandelson  [ 7 November 2003 ]

1998 Resigned over secret loan from Robinson.

2001 Resigned over Hinduja's passport.

2004 Gets to be a commissioner in Europe.

If your face with Blair fits you are in crowd pretty much regardless.

Why the EU Needs to be Destroyed, and Soon
The EU is a French operation determined to destroy democracy. It is a coup d’état. Jean Monnet is one of the guilty. So is Valéry Giscard d’Estaing. They are just two of many. Fjordman explains.
