Education

Education is important because it brings out the best in children who are going to be the adults of the next generation. At all events, that is the way that it should be and it is the reason why various people with agendas have infiltrated the industry. There was a term being used by post Marxists a few decades ago; entryism which means worming one's way into positions of influence and power in order to take over. They do not use them in public anymore because they have done it. The objective is Cultural Genocide They have succeeded.  Here are some comments on the results. One answer is Home Schooling. Then you know what they being fed.

Education is a weapon whose effects depend on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed.

Academic strife: the American University in the slough of despond
Universities are about bringing on a new generation of the intellectually gifted; future leaders, researchers etc. aren't they? If only. They are a maelstrom of malice and political agendas. Tom Sharpe would have had fun with them. His satire was too gentle or English universities were nicer.

Education and Politics
Education is very political. Here is more on the point.

Education In Nigeria
Education is Nigeria is different. In Lagos market they sell biltong, dried meat and babies disappear. Cause and effect? My uncle said so.

Home Schooling
Is not the problem; it is an answer and a very good one. It gets your children out the grip of the propaganda machine.

Keith Windschuttle And Education
Mr Windschuttle tells us that history education in Australia is corrupt and a pack of lies. He named the guilty. They didn't sue for libel. In other words they are guilty as Hell.

Marketing Homosexuality
Yes, it is being marketed by the media [ the BBC has a very personal interest here ] and the education industry. It is one front in a war of subversion; destroying our moral standards and our culture. Antonio Gramsci, the chief theoretician of the communist party would have loved it.

Multiculturalism's War on Education
QUOTE
Back to school nowadays means back to classrooms, lessons and textbooks permeated by multiculturalism and its championing of "diversity." Many parents and teachers regard multiculturalism as an indispensable educational supplement, a salutary influence that "enriches" the curriculum. But is it?.......
Leaf through a school textbook and you'll find that there is a definite pattern behind multiculturalism's reshaping of the curriculum. What multiculturalists seek is not the goal they advertise, but something else entirely.........
What these textbooks reveal is a concerted effort to portray the most backward, impoverished and murderous cultures as advanced, prosperous and life-enhancing. Multiculturalism's goal is not to teach about other cultures, but to promote -- by means of distortions and half-truths -- the notion that non-Western cultures are as good as, if not better than, Western culture.

We are being lied to big time. The education industry is just as bad as the media and quite possibly more dangerous.

The University of Chicago is a Moral Cesspool
QUOTE
By FRANCIS A. BOYLE
Professor of Law, University of Illinois School of Law
It is now a matter of public record that immediately after the terrible tragedy of September 11, 2001, U.S. Secretary of War Donald Rumsfeld and his pro-Israeli "Neoconservative" Deputy Paul Wolfowitz began to plot, plan, scheme and conspire to wage a war of aggression against Iraq by manipulating the tragic events of September 11th in order to provide a pretext for doing so. Of course Iraq had nothing at all to do with September 11th or supporting Al-Qaeda . But that made no difference to Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, and the numerous other pro-Israeli Neo-cons in the Bush Jr. administration.
These pro-Israeli Neo-cons had been schooled in the Machiavellian/Nietzschean theories of Professor Leo Strauss, who taught political philosophy at the University of Chicago in their Department of Political Science........................ Chicago routinely trained me and numerous other students to become ruthless and unprincipled Machiavellians...............  For their own different reasons, both groups also worked hand-in-hand to support Israel's genocidal Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, an internationally acknowledged war criminal. Strange bedfellows indeed.

Universities are very influential; training young minds at an important stage of development. That is why Chicago was infiltrated by subversives with very ugly agendas and morals to match. If you think that Oxford and Cambridge are different you should have another look. The BBC is where their output goes in order to do the maximum damage.

Education Perverted [ 1 November 2008 ]
QUOTE
It's always uncomfortable when we have to humour someone close to us in the name of avoiding conflict. Right now at Thames Valley University, entire science departments must be feeling slightly embarrassed about their degrees in quackery. Because despite the refusal of all universities to disclose what they teach on these, the leaks keep coming, and Prof. David Colquhoun of UCL continues to archive the comedy on his website.......... The University of Westminster have consistently failed to offer me or Colquhoun meaningful information about their degree courses. But we do have - via Colquhoun - a leaked exam paper from its homeopathy BSc degree course finals, asking questions about miasma. Miasmatic theory originated in the middle ages and lasted until the middle of the 19th century, when diseases such as cholera and plague were believed to be spread by foul air, known as miasmas....... If I was going to teach anything on a science degree, it wouldn't be miasma, and it wouldn't be a secret.

The education industry matters to its employees. Wages pay for life styles. They have security while honest men struggle to find work and make ends meet. Bring back magic, alchemy, what ever as long as we can find punters to be students.

Science Teaching Sabotaged  [ 21 January 2006 ]
There is no such thing as truth in science or anywhere else. Some propositions are worth stating clearly because they are so evidently false.  That is the idea being used to ruin education in Oz. It has already been used in the humanities with great success.
2 + 2 = 4? It is culturally determined and only a part of a belief system according to various rogues who have to count on their fingers. There are people in the teaching racket that don't want you to know the truth. They get away with it in government operations. Public schools are a big part of the answer.

Jungle maths in swing with West  [ 21 January 2006 ]
To put it differently American children are just as ignorant of geometry as isolated natives in the Amazon. This source  also suggests that maths are not culturally determined.

Keith Windschuttle has views on the systematic fraud which Australian history teaching with a political agenda firmly in mind. See Keith Windschuttle and Education

Dennis O'Keeffe Explains The Education Industry by Sean Gabb
QUOTE
The subject of his lecture was standard for Dennis. There is, he said, a contradiction at the heart of our society. We live in one of the richest, most successful societies that has ever existed. Modernity depends on property rights secured by an impersonal framework of general laws, in which we can develop and use our human and physical capital to the best of our ability. Yet we have an education system that denies all the assumptions on which our success is built. The system has been captured by a pack of educational bureaucrats and academics who daily preach the evil of all that we have achieved, who deny the validity of our open society, and who have imposed a centrally-ordered curriculum that had denied millions of working class children the ability that he had of getting a good basic education and take advantage of the social mobility that capitalism has made possible. The answer is not to tinker with the system, but to replace it with something more receptive to consumer choice. We would never tolerate an economy run in this way, he said. Why do we tolerate an education system that reproduces the methods and failures of the old planned economies of the Soviet world? The middle classes can buy their way out of the system by sending their children to private schools. We need to find ways of extending this option of exit to the working classes. His solution is to abolish the compulsory attendance laws and to hand out vouchers to parents to let them buy the education of their choice.
